Traditional Espresso Machines VS Bean to Cup

FREE Advice - Sales - Coffee Machine Leasing - Training - Service + Repair

Many Leading Coffee Machine Brands - No Need to Look Further!

Espresso Machine - A Commercial Traditional Espresso Machine is the ultimate in coffee preparation. They create “Style” and provide the “Theatre” that goes with the Continental culture that is Coffee. The whole experience gives the customer a higher perception of quality and they are not wrong. The customer will be prepared to pay more for an Artisan (Handmade) quality coffee. However, a good correctly made coffee depends upon a number of things. Training is the key. Incorrectly made coffees will get the “thumbs down” from customers who you may never see again. Not only is a traditional set up the best way of providing coffee. It is also the least expensive, and better “Value for Money”. You would have to pay twice as much for a Bean to Cup machine that has the same capability as even a 2 Group Traditional Espresso Machine.

Bean to Cup Machine
- The Bean to Cup machine is a good solution where the numbers of staff are limited, and where they need to be doing several jobs at once. i.e. making sandwiches, cooking a food order, or both! Also ideal if there is a large turnover of staff and constant training on a Traditional machine would be a problem. The downside is that they will cost more than a Traditional Espresso Machine if they are required to provide high volumes in a short space of time or where larger cup sizes are required. The customer’s perception of the coffee is not quite as high as that of an Artisan Coffee. They would expect to pay less i.e. prices in well known fast food outlets.

Choosing The Right Machine

As you may have gathered if you have been looking around; there are a lot of choices out there for either type of machine. They may all look quite similar but the main differences are hidden inside.

We can make sure you choose the right machine to suit your needs. You may just be looking for a functional “budget” Traditional Espresso machine. Alternatively, you may be looking for extra features and “styling” that will look fantastic and be a major design feature of your establishment’s décor. Bean to Cup machines are built to suit certain volume and cup size requirements. This needs to be taken into consideration when choosing. Once again, we can help guide you through a range of machines that will be relative to your needs.
